Hi, I’m Brittanee Sims LCSW
I am currently licensed in the states of Georgia and South Carolina. I received my master’s degree in Social Work from Clark Atlanta University. I have extensive background working with children and families within several settings for the past 10 years. In addition to working with children and families; I have experience working with adults who suffer from chronic illnesses. I was able to see firsthand how mental and behavioral health can affect individuals if not addressed.
I work with clients to address depression, anxiety, trauma and life stressors. As your therapist; I offer a welcoming/transparent environment to express your life struggles and circumstances.
Caring about your mental health is the first step to learning to cope and ultimately begin the healing process. Often time than not, we tend to put our mental health needs on pause dealing with our day to day lives. You are able to heal from past and/or current circumstance leading to a healthier overall quality of life. Taking the first step is often the most difficult. As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with over 10 years of experience, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and effective therapy to those navigating life's challenges. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Clark Atlanta University, and my expertise includes anxiety and stress management, grief, depression, ADHD, trauma, life transitions and adjustment challenges.
