Clinical Supervision

Let me help you become a Georgia Licensed Clinical Social Worker!

As a part of the Georgia Society of Clinical Social Work

I offer Low-Cost Supervision!

I’m an LCSW qualified to provide the required Clinical Supervision to Georgia LMSWs.

In 2021, I obtained my Georgia License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) after practicing social work for four and a half years as an LMSW. Overall, I have over 15 + years of experience in social services field.

In all honesty….

I admit…… I'm a bit different in my approach. I aim to make a comfortable and welcoming learning environment that’s unique, and engaging while providing the knowledge and skills needed to obtain full licensure! Ultimately; I aim to create an memorable experience for everyone I work with.

The State of Georgia requires that before a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) can be considered for examination to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), they must complete 120 hours of clinical supervision.

Georgia also requires any LMSW providing social work services in the state to be under supervision during their first two years of social work experience.

Further, the state requires this supervision to be conducted under the direction of a person who is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Psychologist, or Psychiatrist, and who has practiced in their specialty for at least 2000 clock hours over a minimum of two years following licensure.

I provide One-on-One and Group Supervision Services.

However, who and how many participate doesn’t necessarily depend on me.

Once we start, I’ll do my best to stick with you for as long as you need and support you to the best of my ability.

When there are two or fewer supervisees present, the state allows it to be considered an individual Clinical Supervision session. When 3-6 participate, it must be counted as a group Clinical Supervision session. I’ll document accordingly.

Supervision requires dedication and focus.

Supervision sessions are scheduled as one-hour meetings. During each session, we will explore a mix of the following key topics: case discussions, self-care strategies, workplace dynamics, community engagement, and professional development.

I love being an LCSW! The work I do gives me a sense of purpose, and I truly thrive in it!

I would be honored to share my joy and experiences as a Social Worker with you!
